Heterogeneous interfaces govern some of the most important processes in such diverse areas as catalysis, electrochemistry, and environmental science.  Soft X-ray spectroscopies, including XPS, NEXAFS, and RIXS, are excellent tools to investigate these interfaces with high elemental and chemical sensitivity. This workshop will highlight recent developments in the application of soft X-ray spectroscopies under reaction conditions, including the design of new experimental strategies for the preparation and control of liquid/solid, gas/solid and liquid/vapor interfaces.
